Jim first picked up the saxophone at the age of 12 following in his dad’s footsteps. Initially playing Jazz and Big Band music (like his Dad) by his mid-twenties, Jim was playing with local rock covers bands too, playing everything from Thin Lizzy to Madness! A long time Floyd fan, Jim was asked to join Pink Floyd tribute Time to Breathe. When his family came along, music took a back seat for a number of years but Jim was tempted out of retirement by the lure of those Dick Parry solos when he was asked to join Us & Floyd in 2018.
Over the years Jim has played with a number of big bands, Jazz groups and even a saxophone quartet, rock covers bands, and a David Bowie tribute which saw him playing four different saxes, flute , harmonica and a variety of percussion too.
Jim is absolutely delighted to have been invited to play with SIMPLY FLOYD and another chance to study and hone those Dick Parry solos.

Sharon joined her first band at 19 called Cobweb and was with them for a few years. She then tried a couple of different genres before taking a break and returned to music when she was invited to join a PFT band called Time to Breathe who then changed their name to Breathe. She left to join The UK PFT Show (sang for them a couple of years). When they disbanded she went to Us & Floyd for a while. Sharon left and had another break not thinking she would do entertaining again. However, she recently came back to performing with the talented members of Simply Floyd and enjoying yet again the music of Pink Floyd.
